      dream paralyzis while awake.

I dont think its normal, and i know its dangerus.

Somtimes while im fully awake, I start losing control of my body, I trip and fall
Its not like when blood rushes to my head or out. But it actuly fells kinda of good (untill i hit the floor with a bang) like when you wake up in a soft bed with soft pillows osv.

It has happend in public and in stairs. People say it looks like i faint and becomes a ragdoll. Im also REM-ing
Altho, i am fully awake and thinking. Mostly stuff like Not again, and O crap im gonna fall and hurt my self.

Not only is it embarrasing but also dangerus. It happend in the middle of a stairwell. Also it was a big one made of stone.
If it wernt for my friends, i woud probably have died.

Have anyone ever seen or heardanyting like this?
None of my friends or family has ever heard any thing like it.

Im going to see a doctor soon abaout it soon.

Nope, never heard of this. I don't see how it could be mid-day and you've been awake, and you are in REM stage... It doesn't make sense.

I think you are either experiencing a rapid loss in blood pressure.

      Or, you have diabetes.

      Or you have narcolepsy (sp?)

Or, it really is just a head rush.

Yea, you should see a doctor.

      Hey there,

That sounds a lot like narcolepsy to me, perharps a milder form of it, but still...

"The main characteristic of narcolepsy is overwhelming excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS), even after adequate night time sleep. A person with narcolepsy is likely to become drowsy or to fall asleep, often at inappropriate times and places. Daytime naps may occur without warning and may be physically irresistible. These naps can occur several times a day. They are typically refreshing, but only for a few hours. Drowsiness may persist for prolonged periods of time. In addition, night-time sleep may be fragmented with frequent awakenings."

Look it up on wikipedia, lots of good information about it there. The above quote is from there.

And yes, it's probably good to see a doctor about this, as it is potentially dangerous.

Happend twice today. Really hurt my self to.
I didnt sleep much tonight, abaout 6 hours, and i didnt have REM.
Its not always that i get Rem, but mostly iw slept well those days it happens.

I dont think i have diabetes.
Its not a head rush, they fell like getting beaten with a bat and blind me.
      So its probably narcolepsy.
Im seeng a doctor"school nurse" tomorow as i hurt my wrist somwat badly.
