Sleep distribution... Question

I have all of the time in the world but I'm very bad at managing it.
I also tend to oversleep for crazy amounts of time (17-24 hours in one shot) to put off things that I don't feel like getting done.

I need more free time because I have so much that I need to get done. -& this solution oddly seems better than learning time management.

-I wanted to do the uberman sleep schedule.. but I know that I would have to skip one of the naps which prob wouldn't work.
-I was also thinking of dymaxion because it would still give me all of that free time.. but I'm not sure If I want to wait 6 hours for sleep. (+ the time for my naps would be extremely close to when I have to get to school.)

I was thinking of dividing my time up this way..

3AM - 20min
7AM - 20min
11AM (I can't sleep here.. )
3PM - 40 min (Kind of like a core sleep? 0.o)
7PM - 20 min
11PM - 20 min

So 20,20,40,20,20...

Would this be adaptable with the uneven distribution of sleep?

I'm kind of worried about the gap between 7:20Am... and 3pm.. but I only plan on using this schedule till the end of the school year.

Edit- I have another question which I didn't consider till now. 4 out of 7 days.. I can follow the uberman schedule.. Should I just stick to my schedule above & wait it out and sleep the 40 minutes? -or would it be better to do the 3,7,11 with 20 minutes when I can?

Will I be able to adapt if I switch around my schedule like this? I assuming it would just take longer to adapt. Does anyone have any experience with alternating sleep schedules, and how long did it take for you to adapt?

Heh.. sorry for all of the questions. ^^

Instead of trying a polyphasic sleep schedule (which is really HARD) why not take a course in time-management. If you have problems with getting your things done when you have plenty of time, how are you ever going to manage your life if your life gets busier, with more activities?

BTW: since you're in school, I assume you are too young to cut back on sleep times. Instead of thinking polyphasic sleep will solve your problems, read a bit on steve pavlina's website: www.stevepavlina.com and especially the articles about being an early riser...

Okay, I'll check out the site. Thanks for the link! :) I could use time-management a bit better but I always do manage to get things done even if it is at last minute.

I'll probably still attempt a polyphasic sleep schedule for about two months at least. (Isn't there a better chance at lucid dreams?) I like a challenge. I've been reading PureDoxyk's blog(http://www.everything2.com/e2node/Ub...p%2520Schedule) as well as watching some vlogs on youtube (particularly zelshark7's right now) so I feel like I'm fairly prepared. -& I'm 19 and in college so this seems like the perfect time.
-& as for being an early riser... heh, that sounds a bit impossible for me. I've always been a night owl and I'm usually only awake early in the morning if I have to be or if I've stayed up all night. Also, I feel that if I limit my amount of sleep then I won't be able to use sleep as a means of escaping or putting things off.

Like I said, I'm just not sure about the uneven distribution of sleep.. (& I was wondering If anyone else had some experience with it) but I'm assuming it shouldn't be problematic.
