I heard about people experiencing dreams that seem like hours, even days long with when in alternative sleep schedules (especially Uberman). Could someone verify this and tell me about any practical experiences with such sleep schedules. :)

90% of my dreams feel like hours or days or weeks. Not sure what the sleep schedule is all about.
Really? You must have very good recall.
Recall? If you mean rememberance of dreams I'd say it's better than the average person. I can recall hundreds of images and events from dreams but often the meaning behind them or 'story' that coincides with them escapes me. I find myself often only remember flashes or feelings from these dreams. Nothing I can make a semblence of. I have several locales where I dream of a lot as well, which can make continuity a confusing issue.
Have you tried an alternative sleep schedule?
considering I've essentially been nocturnal for 8 years I'd say yes.
Ah, you mean shiftwork, sleeping during the day.
Have you tried Uberman, or Everyman ASP's, or something similar?
