      Lightbulb Shocking alarm clock???

I've been looking for a shocking alarm clock. Does anyone know if one exists...and no not the one that shocks you when u try to turn it off, since i have never had a problem getting up after being awoken....just waking up in the first place is a problem for me.

I don't really want one of those super insanely loud alarm clock because i still live at home.

If anyone has any other zaney alarm ideas let me know...im all ears.

imo thanks but its kind of hard to chase something when ur not concious.

Although i got a really hilarious visual of me running around the room chasing around my room after the alarm clock. Yelling i have to go work tommorow let me sleep. Than running down the street chasing the alarm clock than going back home thinking you are scott free than you fall back asleep than it jumps out and wakes you up.

Than i take out my 6 inch dive knife and stab it. than remember my dive knife is dull pointed. Than it takes out a gun and shoots me. Than i lay there bleeding and my last words being...."ill finally get to sleep"

yah i have wild imgination after having 3 cups of coffee

Try multiple alarms, set to go off within a few seconds of easch other. Maybe alarm 1, 15 seconds, alarm 2, 8 seconds, alarm 3, and set alarms 2 and 3 further from your bed so that even if you switch off your alarm and remain half asleep, you're awake enough that alarms 2 and 3 wilol bother you enough that you get out of bed, walk across the room, and wake up enough to realize you;re awake. if necessary, put one of the alarms on the opposite side of something you have to reach over or walk around. Hope this helps!

(PS: you can use a cell phone with at least one alarm mode for alarm 1, since it should be close to your bed so you can hear it, and cell alarms tend to change more than digital clock alarms. Alarms 2 and 3 can be a fancy clock radio, another cell phone, a cheap clock from 20 years ago where the nimbers flip down and the screen's cracked. Doesn't matter. If you can do it with just 2 alarms, that's great.)

      Hope this helps!

Get the Fred Flinstone alarm clock: When the Sun comes up over the horizon, it shines on a magnifying glass which burns through a string which allows a heavy rock to fall on his head.

see the problem is that I don't have trouble staying awake. I literally have never pressed my alarm clocks snooze button ....ever. And I don't respond to sound very well.. I mean I have fallen alseep during movies and stuff you name it ive doen it . I'm just immune to sound i guess lol.

And the problem with doing the isnane amount of sound which *might* wake me up is that I live at home and everyone else will wake up before I do.

I am thinking of like those "bed shakers"

Anyone know of a good bed shaker that will wake the dead.

This plays a 113 decibel sound and shakes your bed. Apparently "it will wake even the soundest Ninja Nap."

yes the epic alarm clock battle. Hah now I have a brand sharp tip titanium dive knife and I am buying a spear gun. Chock on that alarm clock

I see the alarm again and I shoot my spear towards it while rolling. I graze one its bells and knock out its first bell. It than shoots me in the arm. I than run towards it and unsheath my titanium stilleto and stab it...and it than laughs at me and shoots me in the chest as i lay on the floor it continues its alarm and laughs at me and says ou will never stop me and than I stab it in the battery and shut it off. And than say to myself...at least I will rest in peace.

Moral of the story...when you fight your alarm...nobody wins.

This is my imagination right after Iget my advanced scuba diving license.

PS: In my next adventure I will choke it with a reel and than kick silt in its face cause I am getting my wreck diver and deep diver specialty training.

LOL and they said nitrogen narcosis only lasted while you whee deep in th water.

IM Narked even out of the water! ooo shiny object....saftey means nothing to me after all...i am narked.

Cellphone in pocket on vibrate (and loudest ring volume). Have one of your friends call it if you aren't up.

Might not work in the wee hours of the morning.

You could rig your own alarm device up. Get one of those surge protector strips with a timer, so that it will turn on at a specified time. Then connect that to a servo or something that dumps a small cup of water on your face in the morning. Or connect it to an electronic model rocket igniter to set off a stink bomb. Being insensitive to sound, that really limits the options for waking up. Instead of a cup of water, you could have it set up to open a valve that would slowly drip water on you. If anyone gets up before you do, tell them to wake you up. My step dad used to pull out the hair on my foot. That sucked, but it woke me right up.

Most cell phones have high pitched and very annoying tones on them for their alarm clocks. It's a good bet that it'll wake you up.
      Bollocks.

When I want to be 100% sure I'll wake up from a deep sleep, for instance if I've been up until 6:00 am drinking, and have work at 8:30; I use the siren on max volume. It actually hurts my ears, and is loud enough to scare me out of even the deepest of sleep. Normally I use just a random sound, one that isn't painful to hear, but is just enough to wake me up.

The alarm clock i have is amazing. I got the http://www.amazon.com/Sonic-Alert-SB...8954333&sr=8-3

and it is an awesome alarm clock that will wake the dead. I personally don't use the sound because i live at home but the alarm is crazy and will wake the dead on its own.

The vibrator is crazy and is super powerful. You can put it under your bed and it will wake you up.

You can also plug in your reading lamp to give your body a visual cue because the alarm will turn the lamp on and off.

Basically I put the alarm on silent and use the vibrator and my reading lamp. I am fianlly starting to be able to do my polyphasic naps without falling asleep for hours.

It was worth every penny and I atribute it my success in polyphasic sleeping. That and I wake the rest of the house so noone has to be bothered.

I also got noise cancelling headphones for 50 dollars at costco.

      http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product...0*487*&topnav=

and i would recommend them to anyone. Great clarity, bass, etc. Its around the ear and comfy. It has great noise cancelling. The headphone wire is removable (makes it easy to untangle) and it comes with a bunch of adapters. It was 30 dollars less in costco than online.

That has also helped me nap because it blacks out all noise. If oyu have some audio playing like music or a sleep track than u cant hear a thing. I am using pzizz and it really works great.
