      Constant Dream State

Is it normal to immediatly enter a dream state when I go to sleep? Whether I sleep for 30 minutes or 8 hours I always dream. I also start to dream as soon as I fall asleep

Sure. It happens more often to me, depending on the situation. For instance, falling asleep coming home in a noisy environment such as a bus or car, I will often fall asleep. Within 10 minutes, a dream will develop. I remember one such example where I was looking at some kind of puzzle board. It was made of some wood, like mahogany. It had ropes going across it at the same intervals, and there were little leather squares strung though them every inch or so. I had to turn all the squares over to the right side. Somebody said something and woke me up, and I got mad at them for about 15 seconds before I re-adjusted to being awake.

Depending on the length of your cycles... Quite plausible.

I have been having constant weird dreams for the past week and don't know why! I don't think it is common, although, everyone does dream they usually don't remember them.
