Do you think that being mentally handicapped can affect dreams in any way?

      Um, where to start.

Well, obviously, mentally handicapped people aren't as smart as other people, or whatever term you'd like to use, but do you think that it could affect dream recall, the substance of the dream, the ability to become lucid, all of the above? I'm just curious, and I don't mean to be mean/or to stereotype, I'm just wondrin if there could be any generalizations.

Also, some people with mental disabilities have great abilities in one thing. Could super dream recall/the ability to become lucid, be a "super ability"?

      Thoughts?
If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.

Mental disability often means that someone is mentally underdeveloped for his\her age, has a mind of someone younger. I see no reason why that should impair dreaming in any way.
