am i losing it... ???

I keep having dreams about dead people. My dreams have always been vivid, to the point sometimes i dont even know im dreaming. Im pretty good at controlling my dreams when im in them. Lately i keep having dreams about dead people i dont even know. I had one recently that lasted for hours and hours. Every time i would wake up i would go get something to drink and hope that when i went back to sleep i would dream of something else. But i just continued the dream where it left off. Its so bad i dont even wanna go to sleep and i am having trouble even getting into sleep mode.

The dream started out where i was in a house i have never been to before. I was playing with a camera i had just gotten, the video part of it. I set the camera down and walked out of the room. When i came back it was on i watched what it had recorded. Toys that were on the floor in the room started moving around by themselves it scared the crap out of me. I threw a ball towards where they had been moving and something caught it, i closed my eyes and shook my head and opened my eyes and there was a 5 year old boy sitting in front of me. He looked normal except his shirt was stained with blood, and he was alittle pale. He said i couldnt see him unless i wanted to, and he just wanted to go home. I was seriously ready to wake up then but i couldnt. thru out the whole dream there were all these people that were freaking dead asking me to help them. I had to figure out in each case what was holding them here and not letting them cross over.. Im talked a pregnant woman who was dead named jessica, an older man who killed himself... like.. its seriously disturbing.. I dont watch scary movies.. i dont watch TV.. and i havent been reading any books lately.. i have no clue where all this is coming from. My fiance is telling me he is going to take me to a shrink because its not normal. Im afraid to even go to sleep now. Its every night.

In that last dream i played along, and got alot of the dead people to cross over... but thats just it.. I DONT WANT THESE DREAMS. they have started spawning into me not being able to do anything but watch, and see people getting brutally murdered...

Im 20 years old, im a girl. Im normal for the most part, no anger or aggression. I have had alot of death in my past, I.E. parents are dead. best friend hung himself.

I dont know what to do..

No, you are not losing it. I have noticed a pattern. A lot of people come here, looking for help after experiencing the paranormal in dreams, wondering if they are going insane. It's tragic that our modern society, has no guidance for people this is happening to except to tell them they are crazy and to put them on psychotropic drugs.

Before you get insensitive jerks posting in this thread upsetting you, I suggest you join the Deep Dreaming forum, and cross-post this there, or ask admin to move this thread.

I am going to send you a PM, because I don't feel like dealing with people wanting to argue with what I am going to tell you.

way back in the day when weird and paranormal things would happen to a person people would call it a miracle. now days when things like that happen people call them psychotic or insane. its really quite sad.

i know its really scary for you but i personally think its kinda cool that you have been helping these lost souls cross over.

maybe your kinda like a medium or something?

lol i always thought that would be cool.. but this is just disturbing... i think we figured it out tho... I realized something very very bad......

about two weeks ago.. i picked up a camera from a lady on craigslist.. after i told her i wanted it.. i realized that i didnt have the money for it.. and told her i would have to wait but she was mean and said i told her i wanted it and now i had to buy it.. soo my fiance paid for it.. she was a little off tho.. i got the camera.. and thats when the dreams started.. and ..... the one with the ghosts... started with me messing with my camera.. and setting it down and it recording... stuff moving... OMGGGGGGG.. i hope its not possessed or something..

also.. i was in a really bad accident two years ago where i did die for a good 7 minutes.. i dont know if that matters but i didnt have nightmares or very vivid dreams till after that...

the camera has been on my desk next to my keyboard all day..

idk what to do~!

I was driving home from school i was a senior in highschool.. i hydro plained on water right before a bridge... and i went off the road and hit a tree.. when the air bag hit me i saw white.. i remember screaming oh God. i flipped five times and landed in a river.. i had internal bleeding a concussion swelling of the brain lots of bruises and some cuts and burns on my neck from the airbag. I was on the operating table when i opened my eyes and saw my doctor who was asian.. he said "Oh shit!" and i remember seeing white.. like a whitish blue... ive never seen anything like it ever.. i woke up 12 hours later in an ICU room. I dont remember the actual wreck just what i have been told.. happened.. i remember the waking up and then seeing white... but thats all.. then about a week later i was sitting in class all my bruising was gone.. and my head was fine.. i had a cracked virtibre in my neck.. but never felt it.. anyways i was in class and i just start crying.. because i remember a voice saying "its gonna be ok, i promise you will be fine.." but i was told i never woke up on the way.. and no one rode in the ambulance with me just the paramedics.. but it was almost like a childs voice..

Every one says i was lucky cause i survived.. and.. everything was gone after a week..

soo.. i didnt dream about ghosts.. but i had a very disturbing dream.. for some reason i went thru my fiance's phone and saw all these messages from girls.. well i flipped out on him and started strangling him and beating him in the face.. literally i was trying to kill him in my dream..

it was weird.. im glad i didnt actually do it..

When i was 5 my parents found me naked in the neighbors front yard in the snow... i was sleep walking.. i still do it.. i hope i dont accidentaly hurt him in my sleep...

Sorry you had that upsetting dream. Consider telling him about it. It's either you're insecure, or he's giving you a reason to be insecure.

He had been calling his Ex and stuff and im pretty sure he was cheating on me.. i hit him in the face slammed the door on his arm and threw him into a window...
