Waking up tired and remaining tired

I have been waking up tired and remaining tired throughout the day. For some reason, I have been getting restless sleep.

I have an iPod app that senses when to wake me up at a good time, but it has been saying I have been moving a lot. See the attachment for an idea on how much I move (the blue line represents movement).

If you sleep to long or to little you can feel tired. Aim for 7-8 hours, and wow you move a lot in your sleep!

If I oversleep it makes me feel really tired.
I'm always tired too. Maybe its just my age?

waking up tired is sometimes a sign of back pain. so the reason you move so much in ur sleep could be cause ur uncomfortable.
so maybe you have a bad pillow, or ur mattress is too firm, or not firm enough i dont know.
i have one of these http://www.trueback.com/index2.php?SID=GRANTGZT

When I WBTB, I feel tired. Should I be worried?

it could be that you aren't in good health. If you eat enough of the right foods and get 8-9 hours of sleep (not more) then this shouldn't happen.

If you're being artificially woken up, to do WBTB or whatnot, then your sleep is disrupted.

How about you try getting a full night's sleep, with no interuptions? Do you think you will still wake up tired?

I haven't done much with WBTB, but I think it's generally a good idea to do it on nights when you can sleep in the next morning. At least until you get an idea of how much the different techniques affect you during the day.
