Thread: Sleep Paralysis or Alien Abduction: Stories for TV series

man I hated SP when I had it... with the dark figures and green lights... good times.

Dear Everyone

Just to clarify in case of confusion. I'm doing research for a new TV series being produced by Firecracker Films for Animal Planet. I'm looking for anyone who has had a sleep paralysis experience which involved seeing aliens or felt like they were being pursued or attacked by aliens. Alien abduction is now commonly explained as sleep paralysis and we would like people who've experienced dreams and sleep paralysis episodes of aliens to illustrate this. Initially I'd like to hear your stories and if we think the story is strong enough we may wish to talk to you on the phone with a view to potentially interviewing you for the series.

I don't think he's going to get any real stories here. We all welcome sleep paralysis, so usually we don't freak out and start seeing aliens.

I would probably refer my girlfriend who had it but she knew what was happening. She said she was paralyzed on a table and there where these things doing an experiment on her. Apparantly it was pretty convincing but then she saw her cat Boots and that gave it away. Plus we had talked about it before.

I don't know, maybe she'll be interested in this. I'm not sure if her knowing what was happening would qualify her.

As the series is for Animal Planet, we're particularly looking for cases where the nightmares are about 'non-human' beings - ranging from real animals, to monsters, demons and aliens.

We have a good mix of interviewees already, but are specifically looking to include an alien nightmare story in the mix.

I´m postivie that alot of cases of alien abduction can be explained by SP. After seeing some interviews of people explaining their alien encounters I noticed that the symptoms where pretty much identicall to SP. If the "old hag" can appear, then why not aliens.
