Hi. Okay, yes, I can actually breathe.
But sometimes when I try to go to sleep, I can't!
It's like trying to breathe in when your lungs are completely full, even though I know that they are not. It's painful.
I can breathe out, but my breathing is shakey, and when I try to breathe in again, it's incredibly difficult and I feel as if I could quite literally die, and I start to panic. I have to get up and walk around for a while to make it go away, but once I go back to bed, it happens again.
This doesn't happen too frequently. I'd say about once every month or two. I'm only bringing it up now, because I had it last night very badly, and I didn't sleep for the entire night.
Any ideas why this is? It only ever happens when I try to fall asleep, or I've just woken up in the middle of the night randomly.
And no, I'm not asthmatic or anything like that.
