      How to clear mind?

      Lately I've not been sleeping well, and I think one of the major reasons is because my mind is filled with so much things (like songs and random thoughts and conversations with myself) that I just cannot fall asleep properly. Last night I tried focusing on the whirring sound of the air-conditioner to block all other thoughts but they just come back to me.
      Also, I tried a MILD last night by chanting "I will have a lucid dream" tonight but it was overwhelmed by other stupid thoughts. Any help guys?

      Try some relaxation methods like the 61-Point-Relaxation or the Tension-Relaxation Method. I know them from Stephen LaBerge's book "Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming" but you might find it elsewhere . If you want to become lucid this one is really helpful. You might wanna order it from Amazon for some bucks.

      you just need to think of nothing. when a thought come to you head think of nothing again. this is how i did it

      You can not focus on clearing your mind and falling asleep, because if you do focus on these thought, then you will definately not go to sleep. Think thoughts that will make you thinks more thoughts, then those thoughts branch off of those thougts, and before you know it, you will be hearing your alarm clock waking you up for another day!!

      Hello Friends........

      I think you should do meditation before going to bed .It will help you to relax your mind .
      Enjoy the time that you spend meditating. Allow thoughts to flow freely. Don't analyze feelings or worry whether you are meditating correctly.

      I suggest you play soft music while you meditate and then begin a ritual of meditation and you will find the images will go to the front of your head rather than the corner of you mind only to disappear. I use this technique and it works most of the time although not all the time. Were
