      sleep paralysis/please advise me

m freaking out! i had a bad experience today while asleep. I google my experience and got me to this site. So, This is my experience of my sleep paralysis. First, I dont meditate, But i know when is going to happen.. I feel like someone is drugging me like when you go the hospital and they give u anesthesia.... i try to wake up and i cant, i know im not dreaming. It usually happens twice and then i wake up. I experience tingling sensation all over my body.. And I feel my whole body shaking hard, then i felt like someone was drilling in my head. I woke up for two second and went back to sleep again and the second time was worst. Im conscious cause i keep telling myself it will be over soon...

I pray do everything that is possible for me to wake up... Now i have a big migraine and i also wake up crying... please give me advise....

      Wow, you are lucky!!

We lucid dreamers try to go through this almost everynight. This is the stage that leads to a lucid dream. Anyway, what you need to do is just do nothing. That is it, dont freak out, dont move, just let it happen, it is safe and it wont hurt you a bit unless you hurt yourself by becoming worried and getting a headache.

Read a little more about lucid dreaming and you will see that in the WILD method of lucid dreaming, you have to go through sleep paralysis. When sleep paralysis comes to me, I get over-excited because I know that I am getting close to a lucid dream, unfortunately becoming overly excited brings down the paralysis, it seems to me that way.

Anyway, it is no big deal, once you read up some more on this, you will see that you just missed an opportunity for an adventure of your lifetime. Also, during this stage you may hallucinate, so try to think positive so you hallucinate positive. It is common to see "ghosts/monsters" during this stage, just remember that you are safe and nothing bad will happen and you will be just fine.

Like elucid said, sleep paralysis can't harm you. It happens every night to us more so before our REM cycle, to paralyze our body and keep it from acting out our dreams. It's a natural process conducted by the brain. You've just got to ride it out, stay calm, think happy thoughts. Imagine more enjoyable feelings; the smell of flowers, the wind on your face, someone massaging you. Visualize what kind of dream you want. Surf the paralysis wave right into a wonderful, lucid dream.

hi elucid you reminded me that this has happen to me before.. Before my mom passed away i had the same experience and i felt my grandfather sat next to my bed and told me that everything was going to be ok. He also said that when you die is another life. I remembered i called my father the next morning and told him about what had happen that night, again, with the same thing i was paralized and felt my body was floating and i was talking to my grandfather in that stage. Now that night my gf kept talking to me about death. I felt when he left the room and someone else enter it and then i felt scare and woke up... The following week my mom pass and a month late so did my dad. So, it makes me think about all of the spirtual stuff that i have been reading.
what do you guys think about this story.......

sroque2, it seems that you want answers to what you went through in regards to your parents and their advice in the dream. Any answers that I give you will reflect my belief of this world.

The following thread is what I believe in and I strongly recommend that you read it as well. It can clear many things for you.

And in my opinion, I believe that your encounter with your grandfather was to prepare you, emotionally, for the death of your parents.

The best thing to do is just relax, and remember that you are in no danger. When you are in that state of mind, where you are relaxed and you understand what is going on, you quickly realize its not a big deal, and it wont seem like a big deal.

Most of the problems people have, is because they don't know what it is and kind of freak out. Which is entirely understandable.

Don't wake up so you can have a cool WILD. if the HH is scary, try this:

If it feels like someone is shaking you, try to make them massage you or in your head, ask them to stop.
If it feels like someone is drilling in your head, in your head ask them to do something else.
Tell yourself that it can't hurt you or scare you. Be positive.

If that dosen't work, open your eyes and you will wake up. Or do some complicated long division sums and then open your eyes. However I'm not sure if the long-division sums work. I made them up myself so use with caution.
