Once I sleep talked! I roughly narrated my dream

I talk in my sleep all the time. The only reason I know is because it usually wakes me up.

The other night I woke myself up 3 or 4 times talking to people in my dreams. Sometimes I narrate them, too, like Charmarlw.

The strangest thing I ever said was, "There are coo coos in the rafters!" I remember the dream, too, but it really had nothing to do with what I said. Something about a girl vacuuming in the attic.

I was told I used to talk in my sleep, but I don't know how often. I woke myself up once too.

When I was about 3 or 4 years old, my mom caught me walking down the hallway in the middle of the night. She asked what I was doing and I said "where's the big square?" Somehow she figured out that I meant the bathroom.

A few years ago, I was on the phone with a couple friends, really late at night. I started to fall asleep and have a dream about running around my house with a group of friends, setting fire to our curtains. I woke myself up when I said "I can be the person with the blowtorch".

I had a sleepover once with a few friends, and one of them talked all night. A couple of us stayed up to listen, and one of the best lines was "Jamie, you can live, but you have to live with my dog."

I used to sleep talk, but only when I was sleep walking. I went into my parents room in the middle of the night, demanding they let my friend in the house and give her "a glass of water for the transparent foot."

Once the sleep walking went, so did the talking.

"No, I want the pole beans, Frank!" That's not from me, from a girl who shared my room in prep school.

Abigail the ninjas are gone! I woke up one morning and randomly said that.

"Can Wolves stay in hotels mom?" i woke myself up screaming this, this morning. O-o
Once in kindergarten i had a dream my teacher was a malicious zombie who was pretending to be human so he could lock us in one day and devour us. I slept talked an entire conversation about my zombie teacher according to my mom >_> apparently i narrated the entire thing. She even knew what i dreamed about from what i said.

I don't know if I ever talked while sleeping, I think not, because no one has ever told me yet that they saw me sleep talking. But there's a time I pulled away my brother's blanket while I am sleeping(according from him, he was still awake when I did that).

I talk in my sleep every night (according to my wife). Last week, right before I woke up I was talking in my sleep and my wife told me to wake up. I replied "If you want me to wake up, just hit me between the eyes". haha I don't remember it, but she was making fun of me all day.

I talk in my sleep apparently. No idea what I say, I've just been told consistently that I do it. I used to do it a lot more as a child though. I also used to sleep walk as a child, and that included talking too.

I hope that I don't sleep talk! Lots of my dreams are very sexual, hehe

i don't actually talk, but i do mumble incoherent nonsense.

I could imagine how amusing it would be to sleep in the same room as you. Hehe.

i also sometimes mumble gibberish. there's a lot of sleep talking in my family. on my moms side you can ask someone if they're getting up and they'll agree or say nonsense without knowing, and on my dads people will talk to each other while they're all asleep.

Makes me remember, my dad talks of his job. I shared a tent with him once, and it was all "Got to bring the boxes downstairs." and "Where are the files? The boss needs the files!"
Fascinating. I don't know how my mom stands it.

I talk in my sleep probably 2-3 nights per week (that I can remember anyways). It usually wakes me and it takes a bit to get back to sleep after this talking happens.

I had a friend sleeping over at my house. God damn he is a loud sleep talker. He screamed: "TURN OFF THE BAG", and "I don't really know the clock would like it"

Sleep talking or somniloquy points to a word, set of words or sentences uttered during sleep. In most cases, sleep talking begins in deep sleep also called as NREM sleep. Of course this varies between individuals and some are known to talk during REM sleep. The causative factors of sleep talking point towards stress and ill health.

I don't know if this counts, but i've been told that I talk in my sleep. I never remember it... which is probably connected to the fact that I never remember my dreams... But others have told me that I talk in my sleep. and apparently I have spoken in english and even spanish (which I do actually speak in the waking world). Maybe if I can master dream recall I might be able to remember what I was talking about.

When I was a baby I giggled when sleeping.

I had 4 lucids the other day and my mom told me I was giggling in my sleep again! lol

Apparently I sing in my sleep sometimes

And I listen to my brother sleep talk haha, last time he ordered two cokes and told me to take the first right.

My little daughter (nine years old) often talks in her dreams, but what strange is, you can talk to her and she will answer you. Is that supposed to mean, that you are taking part in her dreams or what is happening?
