      How Can I stay Asleep?

Hey for the past 2 weeks or so I've been having a hard time going to bed. I try to sleep at 10:30 -11:00 and hope to wake up for 6am but it never happens any more! Instead I go to "sleep" ( I'm not even sure if it's sleep) and then I "wake up" and the time is like 1:15am or close to 3:30am. The reason I put quotations on "wake up" is because It's not like waking up how you regularly would in the morning and your conscious of your eyes opening. It's more like realizing time has just passed by because it seems my eyes are already open once I realize the time. Hopefully someone knows what I'm talking about.

Is there anything I can do about it? On Sunday night I went to bed , got up @ 3 and just stayed awake until the next night (Monday) hoping to reboot my sleep cycle. I did fall asleep and woke up again, BUT I found it easier to fall asleep. Tuesday night ( or just yesterday since it's almost 5am now) I tried to sleep but I woke up at around 1:45 -3:20 ( I forget) but it's hard to go back to "sleep" So i've been awake since then. I don't want to have somewhat of a rest every 2 nights!

The big problem though I think is around my normal bed-time I don't feel too tired. I yawn slightly but I'm pretty sure im "out" in about 15-30 mins. I only feel slightly tired. I've tried alot but counting breaths, singing songs mentally, No sugar2-3 hours before bed, Read 30 mins before sleep etc is not working. I'm not stressed out either. I may change my reading material to something more mundane but I think it will take more then that.

Anyone got suggestions? When it comes to sleeping in a vehicle I can do that no problem or in someone else's bed I'm fine. I sort of sleep on the floor ( long story) but like I put a bunch of chair cushions, and a few heavy pillows on the floor then covered it with a sheet, and lie on it.

      Please help

I guess it's not all doom and gloom. I lied down at 5:38 and set my clock to wake me up at 6:30. I had did have a lucid dream. I haven't had one in months so I should be thankful.

That happens to me sometimes, too. I'd like an explanation if anyone knows what it is.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

That does happen to me from time to time . I don't really know how to overcome it , i just try different sleeping positions , concentrating my mind on different stuff , maybe listening to music or radio or something . If anyone knows how to handle this problem , please share , cause i believe it would be useful for everyone
