      PC Music -> Macbook

      So, I recently got a macbook and want to transfer all my music from my PC to my macbook.

      Erm, does anyone know how to do this and/or have experience doing this? Because I'm lost.

      The only thing I've heard of is burning them to CD's and transferring that way, but I don't have time to do that.

      I don't have an external harddrive either. :[

      I suggest you transfer it through a network. If you connect both your windows computer and your macbook to the network (preferably using a cable), there are two ways of doing it. Either you can enable file sharing on your windows computer, share the folder in which you have your music and connect with your macbook to download it. Or you can enable some kind of file sharing on your mac and connect with your computer.

      You can connect your macbook directly to your PC with a firewire cable if your PC has one. Doing it by a CD is a terrible idea.

      Either that or put them both on a network, go into Finder and look in the shared section. You should see your PC in there, navigate through it until you find your music. Then load up iTunes and drag your music folder into it. It'll automatically copy and sort your collection for you.

      Just connect to the network your computer is on. Either plug in an ethernet cable, or connect through wireless or something.

      I'm mindblown by this. You know how to burn a CD, but you can't figure out how to set up a network between two computers?

      Really?

      You be very surprised at what hard things people can do on a computer and what easy things they can't do....(No offense to OP)
