I Might be wrong... but don't you have to basically remake the entire site under the domain name
Anyway this might help: Community Library — Blog — Categories —
EDIT: This might help more
That didn't help, unfortunately, but thanks anyways.
My site's hosted by webs.com and I just need the 2 nameservers and IP addresses of puffinart.webs.com.
Go to godaddy, then click "My Account".
It asks you to log in, so just click the link and log in.
Under "domains" there would be a list of the domains you have bought. I take it you got one domain, so just click on the domain that is there.
The page you are brought to is where you find the info.
Click "nameservers"
Then a page comes up. At this point, a box may come up with the nameservers. I think that if it doesn't, just click "nameservers" at the top.
I don't know where to find the information to fill the boxes in, though. D:
There's no ip address or nameserver information on my webs account, and that's what I need to link it to the domain name.
Google it... it should tell you were to find everything you need (shitty answer I know, but I gotta go)
Ah, ok sorry, I misread what you were saying.
I know nothing about webs.com :P
So do you actually have your own website now? Like puffinart.com or something? Or what exactly is going on?
Name Server: NS1.WEBS.COM
Name Server: NS2.WEBS.COM
And according to the pings, this is your IP: 216.52.115.50
Thank you! Just wondering, where did you find the information?
Here: Traceroute, Ping, Domain Name Server (DNS) Lookup, WHOIS
As for your IP, I just pinged your Website from the command prompt in Windows.
EDIT: You can ping from the site, according to the link name :P
I see. Thanks again.
