Photoshop Elements - Error Message

Every time I open up a file in Photoshop, and attempt to use the eraser/brush/clone tool on the image, I recieve the following error message:

There's not much help online. I tried to repair the installation, shut down and restart the computer, and do a system restore. This has just started happening yesterday and I need advice because I need this program for school! Thanks.

What version of Elements?

Maybe you could try un-installing it and then installing it again...? At least if you haven't already.

I tried uninstalling and installing it again, same message.

I uninstalled the program for good and installed Photoshop 7. So, I obviously don't have this problem anymore. :P Mods, please lock.
