Hey all,
I have an extremely odd problem with my current router and I'm not quite sure exactly what's wrong! I'm no networking expert so maybe someone in here could help ^^
My router model is a Netopia 3347 with wireless support (that is both cable and wireless options).
My problem is that even though I can connect to the internet no problem, I can't connect to the router in any way (to access the admin panel). I've pretty much tried everything I can think of so far. I started by checking out the support page on the netopia website which mentions that the default gateway address to the admin panel is 192.168.1.254. The problem is that when I check out my own configuration under CMD -> ipconfig /all, it says that my default gateway is 192.168.1.1, I don't know exactly what that's supposed to mean in terms of devices it's connected to (The above IP is also the IP of the DHCP Server), but no matter what of the IP's I've tried, there's just no way I can connect to it.
It should also be mentioned that I'm trying to access it by cable, and that the cable is hooked up directly from my PC to the router.
I've also tried restarting the router, switching my ethernet cable to new ports in the router (for whatever reason, I'm becoming desperate here:P) to no avail!
So I've pretty much hit rock bottom here, and there's no way up!:cheeky: So I figured I'd try here to see if anyone haves any idea on the matter.
