Someone used my email to create a user name to another site.

I recently got an email saying thanks for signing up for the xbox360iso.com forum. The thing is, I don't own an xbox (I prefer playstation), but this stuff isn't adding up. I've never even heard of this site.

So I went to the site and requested a password change, so I got an email with a new password and changed it, and posted in their feedback forum.

They even created the ID "Louie300", which is obviously my name, and when I asked some mods about it, they said that only one IP was used to access the account (mine). I asked if they could pm me the IP that originally created the account anyway and they said no.

Do I need to run a virus scan? This is kind of freaking me out. I have my own website, and this was probably a dumb move, but I posted my email on it for feedback. Now this happens. So I'll probably be taking that off my site.

Sounds a lot like somebody is messing with you.

Yeah, I went ahead and changed my email address, and am about to delete it.

No more logging to my email at school or posting it online.
