I have MacSpeech and I use it for writing reports and such, but I wish there was a way to specialize to to figure out when I'm dictating words or when I'm dictating C++. Also then need to figure out how to read intonation and such to automatically punctuate sentences.

So far its a toy that could one day be useful. Although, from the looks of it; it would work pretty well for essay writing and the likes. I don't think coding is a very good use of it.

I'm surprised that that worked. I'm weary of speech recognition, when I use it for an essay I always reread it like five times for dumb mistakes. I'm always unsure if the program is going to "Recognize speech" or "Wreck a nice beach."
The technology still has a very long way to go before it really knows what we're saying.
lmao thats class. I used to have sum Dragon speech program, cant remember the name now. Wasn't bad but took a while to train to get it used to my voice. Can be funny but very irrating when it messes up.
My speech recognition program knows the difference between a period of time and a period at the end of a sentence period
