Okay, I have had a Virgin Mobile Oyster for some time now, and today, I get a text message and when I open my phone to look at it, the screen is black! I can hear the sounds of the keys, but the screen just won't show up! And I really want to read this Text!!! What the hell, phone? What should I do?

Have you tried taking out the battery?
Those phones are made with cheap material. I wouldn't expect them to last more than 6 months of use.
I ended up buying a better one, and yes, i changed the battery and everything.
