Something free similar to NeroBurning ROM8

I have Nero8 and the trail run out and it is like £80 to purchase!! I am not paying that for a CD writer as good as it is.

Can anyone recommend a decent free burning software?

I've used CDBurnerXP Pro for a number of years, and have been _very_ satisfied with it. It was going to be my recommendation too. I find it's better than nero/roxio.
