AudioSurf/Steam?

This would probably be better on a Steam forum, but I don't care that much.

I bought Audiosurf a few weeks after it came out. Love the game, I played it all the time, then I loaned my mother my laptop in the beginning of April(she only has a desktop), as she left for a 13 week travel job.

She came back for this weekend, and now she wants to trade computers permanently, and I'm for that 100%, cause the desktop is much more kickass than my laptop with like 4x the disc space and twice the RAM.

My question is... I was wondering if it was possible to transfer Audiosurf over to the desktop, or do I just take the loss and purchase it again? It's only 10 bucks, but if I can save it for something else I'd like to.

If you have Audiosurf, that means you probably have bought it through Steam. So if you did, then you don't need to purchase it again. Think of Steam as something like MSN. You can use Steam on any computer that has it installed, just like MSN. MSN keeps all your settings, just as Steam keeps your games.

In other words, if you have Steam on another computer, log into your account and play the game. If the computer doesn't have Audiosurf installed, just click install.

Tl;dr
No, you don't need to buy it again.

Thanks, I was pretty sure I read somewhere that once it's on a computer it can't be moved.
