While I was coding today my mouse suddenly started to jump around and become unresponsive at times. Then finally it stopped responding to me all together. I rebooted, but it didn't help. I attached a USB Mouse and that works fine.
HELP!

sounds like hardware problem with the laptop trackpad
(liquid spill / dust, etc.)
can you open it up and get behind the trackpad surface?
Nope, actually, now the whole damn thing won't turn on. :(
I'm downloading a new install CD with Live. Gonna take off all my files and then reinstall. Uhg, but hey, maybe the wireless will work this time :P
Uhg, the iso stopped downloading halfway through. This can wait until tomorrow :(
