Internet Isn't Working

My ipod touch's internet is not working. Under wi-fi networks, it usually displays "linksys"; which is our wireless network that we use. When I "connect" with it, it says it has connected, but there is no signal and it doesn't work with anything. After a bit it goes back to "not connected." Sometimes it doesn't display any networks to connect with.

PS - I know the wireless internet is fine because my brother has the same exact ipod touch, and the internet works fine with it. Also, I've tried the signal in different locations and it doesn't work while my bro's does.

Any ideas? Is my best bet to get a new ipod?
