Then don't buy a commercial video editor |

Anyone have any reviews on which one I should get. I want the cheapest version, but don't want to be limited of the good stuff it can offer. |

I remember using a trial version of it and loving it. |

Haha, I was going to say that yesterday, but I realized Cinelerra wasn't for Windows. |

Screw Vega. Get Final Cut or Avid. Its what the industry uses and if you want to get into that, you should learn those two programs. |

Or just get the "free" version of Vegas. I'm assuming there is one and that it is distributed through a p2p network... oh and that it is not illegal. |

- Are you an idiot?
- No sir, I'm a dreamer.
I was just about to say people actually pay for computer programs? If it's possible to DL then it should be DL. And if it cost money you should probablly get it for free. That's my philosophy. I remember when I got the newest photoshop like a $400 value for free. Pretty awesome. |

I downloaded the Trail Version and it doesn't look and feel anything user friendly. I also saw that sony offers a seperate program just to teach you how to use Vegas. More $$$, man they are in buisness alright. |

They haven't ported Cinelerra yet? Seems like I'd read that they had... In any case, what dsr suggested is a good way of going about it. That or just using a custom Ubuntu LiveCD. Actually, the Multimedia Production version of Ubuntu has it built in, I believe. Ynot will pop up to confirm that for me, I'm sure. |
