So, right now I have Watery Desktop 3D which makes it look like it's raining onto my monitor.
Does anyone know where to get a screensaver that makes your screen look like it's "leaking"?

I used to have one of those, I prefer my Helios screensaver though.
Isn't a screensaver supposed to reduce the power output of the monitor?
No. A screensaver is only meant to protect the monitor from burn-in. Reducing power usage is done by putting it into a lower power-state (sleep/off). (Personally I just have it go to standby after 15 minutes without any screensaver first, and shut it off manually whenever I know I'll leave the computer on for an extended period.)
I just shut off the moniter when I leave for more than 5 minutes.
I don't actually have a screen saver.
Elis D (wow it took me this long to sound out your screen name) is right about turning off your monitor when not in use. The only point of screensavers is to reduce CRT burn, but most people use LCD screens today, so screensavers are useless (if anything they might use more power).
Personally, I use them to look cool. I don't really care about the power usage as my bills are rather low. Plus, I just like looking at a cool screen saver while I'm reading or something to zone out and think of what I just read, etc. Probably the same reason a lot of people want trippy backgrounds (Hyperspace 3D!!) to trip out on. *Shrugs*
No one has any suggestions though? lol.. I'm surprised.

My LCD TV ghosts lot because we have DVR and I'm the only one in my family to not leave the TV on for more than 20 minutes when it's paused, so images ghost in for a while, but just using the TV normally erases it.
I think it's similar on a much longer time frame for monitors(like days for ghosting to occur)
That sounds really cool, O'nus. Can you make it so that it rains onto your desktop? So I can have an OpenOffice Doc open, and make it rain on it?
