Cropping A Video
I was recording some footage from a PC game for a video I'm making, but the screen resolution changed when I maximized the game. For this reason, it was hard to get the right dimensions using the screen capture software, as the screen changed whenever I went back into the game. So, I decided I'd record full-screen and crop out the interface and HUD after it was all recorded. The only major setback is I don't have anything to crop with.
If anybody knows of a program that will allow me to crop some sections off the top, bottom and sides of a video clip, I would be obliged if you could let me know. I'm not sure this project is worth paying any money for, so freeware would be ideal. Either that, or a 30 day free trial.
Thanks :)

Handbrake has a cropping feature and is multiplatform. iMovie 09 also has a more powerful one. Handbrake lets you set a cropping area, but it's static. iMovie allows you to move the cropping area around to follow something in your movie.
