Create a DVD from .mpg files?

Hey guys.

I have some clips from a recent snowboarding holiday, but I want to create a DVD from them, so that I can send it to the others I was with, but cannot find anything to convert/burn these files to a DVD disk so they'll play in a standard DVD player.

Is there anything out there that I can use, for free? I tried to Google but they're all pay versions.

Don't you have a Mac? iDVD will handle all of the conversions, writing, and menus for you.

SPOILERS: .mpg is just a container. But as a general rule of thumb, ConvertXToDVD can convert anything DivX/XviD related to DVD.
