Photoshop

I have a few questions for those of you out there that use adobe photoshop. What's better spot healing brush, healing brush, or clone stamp. Is proximity or create texture best for spot healing brush? Just for input I use spot healing brush to cover something up then I get rid of the blur type thing it creates with clone stamp. Thanks in advance.

I guess it really all depends on what I'm doing...

I usually try them all out when working with something to see what gives me the best result. Sometimes it's one thing, then sometimes it's the other.

Depends. If I'm working close to edges, I use clone stamp. If I need whatever I'm cloning around to mix well, healing brush is usually the better choice. Sometimes before I use healing brush, I colour the area the same general colour as what I'm gonna clone upon there. It usually makes the process easier.

Thanks you guys, one more question. The align button for the clone tool and healing brush, is it useful in some instances? It tends to be a pain in the butt for me.
