About wifi and wireless routers...

I installed one in my bedroom a couple of days ago (right next to me) and since then every time I walk in there and sit down I get a small uncomfortable feeling in my head. It's not truly a headache but feels sort of like fire (if that can describe it). Same place too, the entire front side.

I'm aware of the difference between ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, and frequency bands too. I know my router shouldn't be causing this, but what is this? What am I feeling? Is it all in my head? Does a part of me believe routers can do this?

I did a search on the internet and I found similar experiences and something about electrosensitive people. I'm not really sure to believe this. Before my wireless router I was around technology all day, but never felt these "headaches". I'm going to unplug it for the rest of the day and see. Though I'm not sure if its a product of my mind...

I had a simular expreience when we first got a wireless router, and put it up next to my room. I forgot about it after a week.

well the feeling didn't really go away. This morning an inspector came to our house to check up on a recent flood that we had.

It turns out the water corroded one of the pipes on our water heater. He said the pipe had to be replaced immediately because small amounts of carbon monoxide could be leaking out. It could also be the build up of mold.

If the signal that a wireless router transmits actually could damage your brain, the effect wouldn't be immediate in that way.

If you have a speaker turned on with a cell phone next to it, and the cell phone starts receiving something, your speakers will go crazy before the phone actually rings. Some people claim that they can hear/feel this, without loudspeakers. I'm not sure of what to think of that though, and maybe it has nothing to do with this and maybe it's false.
In the end, it's probably all in our heads :)
