So I've tried playing BF2142 over and over, but each time my computer locks. Sometimes it goes black before hand then returns to the game as normal only to go black again a few moments later and not come back online. Sometimes the sound will still be playing.
This only recently started happening. I don't get it. I'm frustrated and confused.
Sounds like your graphics card is either too low end, is overheating, or you do not have the proper drivers installed.
How do I uninstall my graphics drivers?
God, I'm such a noob when it comes to drivers.
I don't think it's a matter of uninstalling your graphic drivers, but updating them.Quote:

The screen goes black and this error message pops up. It started when I began playing BF2142 again and when I play Fallout 3. Sometimes I can return to the game, sometimes I can't. It constantly fucks up my resolution, which pisses me off because it also fucks up my desktop icon arrangement.
But it just started happening out of the blue. There shouldn't be any need to update.Quote:
