Ok so I just bought Oblivion and for some reason my computer isn't reading the CDs.
I can put any other CD in my computer and it reads them. These Oblivion CDs are completely clean, brand new. But for some reason it doesn't even sound like my computer is trying to read them.
Any suggestions?
Hmm sounds odd, but are the Oblivion Cds actual cds or are they DVDs? What I'm trying to say is do you have a CD & DVD ROM?
They're DVDs, but my rom can play both CDs and DVDs.
My friend said it may be a virus problem.
Hmmm...I don't think it's a virus...I've never heard of a virus targeting a specific CD and killing it before it even starts. My guess would be compatibility issues. Have you tried using the Run command?
Everything is working fine now.
I ran a virus scan and removed some adware and trojans and I put in a Laser Lens Cleaner and that seemed to do the trick.
