Query About "Practicing" a WILD and the Transition State
Each night before I go to bed I have tried to WILD. Well, actually that's not true because I don't really expect for it to work. However, I have gotten to SP I think, (heaviness, no desire to move but I can break it if I really want to. Seems more like a mental barrier) and into HP (mostly flashes of images) and then it goes black. Is the transitional state? I then did a reality check by looking at my hands and counting fingers, then looking at the clock, and trying to push a finger through my palm; alas no dream.
Like I said before, I know it doesn't work, but its helped me get in the mindset for what to expect. Its now 6 am and I am about attempt a WILD (large glass of water before bed to avoid using an alarm seemed more natural and more reliable) and am I right in assuming that this "blackness" is what I am looking for? This is where I would do my reality checks, right? Also, the tutorials I have read said that I can open my eyes if I drop into this blackness because its possibly a false awakening.
Any thoughts on this? The practice is just my idea for training yourself, but any information on this "blackness" and transitioning from HP would be much appreciated.
Off to a WILD night, I hope
