My second WILD, only lasting about 10 seconds.
Just had my second WILD tonight. I've had a WILD before, but didn't really try to do it again until just recently. So the two last days, I have been trying to enter a WILD, after waking up from sleep at any point of the night.
This seemed to work this morning;
I just woke up from a nightmare. I wasn't really that spooked and I was able to wake up without moving an inch. Seemed like a good time to try a WILD. So I tried to drift off to sleep, like I usually do.
After a while of laying there relaxing, I started falling asleep. My body suddenly felt distant somehow. That's when I started focusing on keeping aware.
Much like the first WILD I had, I never saw any pictures before entering the dream. My hallucinations where only consistent of noises, REALLY loud ones. I heard this high-pitched annoying buzzing noise. I soon caught myself thinking "Hey, that sound resembles the one from the dentists drill."
Soon after I entered the dream. I felt like waking up. And there I was, sitting at the dentists office. The dream was very unstable, and I desperately tried to stabilize it. I mainly tried touching my surroundings, and looking at my hands.
So after about ten seconds of this, I actually woke up.
Which brings me to a question I have;
Why are my WILDs so short, and unstable?
I figure it can be one out of two reasons. First of all, it's my first WILDs, I'm not used to it yet.
Or it could be the fact that I did both of them in the morning, shortly after waking up from another dream.
Any thoughts?
