SP in WILDS?

Ur, i have a question. Ive WILDed before but i dont remember actually experiencing SP. I just remember hitting HI and all of the sudden im aware im standing in a field of grass.
So (this is probably a newb question but im too lazy ATM to check) is this normal? like is SP always experienced?
I think i remember reading somewhere not everyone experiences it even though it happens. I dont know how you would if you WILD right, After all youve focused all your attention inside your head once HI hits...

I don't think SP is a requirement, no. Or maybe you didn't try moving while it was all happening?? :P
