How do you find the balance

Hey, I'm new :) I have some questions about wild'ing, I have no problems with dild's but I've been trying wild's for about a month now and I fail everytime.

1. For people who have been successful at it, how long did it take you (from your first attempt) to succeed?

2. How do you find the balance between staying alert and falling asleep? At the moment I just can't fall asleep even with a slight level of awareness, I end up getting too restless and mentally tired to continue.

I'm sort of frustrated, it doesn't feel like I'm making any progress. So any answers would aprreciated, thanks :)

well i don' know if this makes you feel any better, i used to practice WILD for about 2 months before i quit 4 years ago... i recently resumed the practice about a couple weeks ago after watching Inception.

still have had no luck... haven't had a single sleepy paralysis yet. just want you to know there are bigger noobs then you are. :lol:

i guess it's just like learning how to ride a bike for the first time... or learning how to trick jump in quake3. but i know for sure i will get it eventually.
