Post Is this a normal experience?

I have been trying to have a lucid dream for months, but to no avail. Recently, I bought an app that produces binaural beats for lucid dreaming, and I have tried listening to that during the night, but the headphones would always fall out or some other problem. However today, I realized that one of the settings is meant for WILD, which I have attempted before and had worked to the degree that I would feel strange and then wake up. This time, however, with the help of the app I quickly started feeling the same feeling as I had before, just much more pronounced. Then, my heart began pounding and my eyes began oscillating rapidly. I live in a dorm apartment where the second room is devoid of windows, so the room is pitch black, yet during this it seemed like the room was brightening up. My body started jerking around, and that coupled with my heartbeat freaked me out enough to cause me to stop. For a few minutes afterword, my heart kept pounding and I felt rather weak, and I was quite sweaty when I snapped out of it. My question is, is this normal in the WILD process? My concern was that I was on my way to having a seizure or something (I've never had one, and am not prone to getting them, btw). Should I continue trying, or should I stop now? Thanks in advance.

Yep, it's quite normal and a good sign that you're getting closer to the land of lucidity. So I say embrace it and follow through!

Thanks! It was so freaky, I guess I let it scare me too much. I will definitely keep trying.
