Perfecting the transition from SP to LD

I am able to reach SP, and I always have trouble with the transition from it to the actual dream. Earlier I was in SP, and waited patiently for the dream to arrive, however it seemed unstable and blurry, and I couldnt seem to get the dream to fully form, it kept fading off. I attempted to transition into a dream at least 4 times, each time imagery forming but not holding.
At one point I decided not to wait and just got up out of bed, hoping it was a dream, which it was. Then the imagery promptly failed as If I myself couldnt imagine the scenery and it dissapeared. to summarize, I almost feel as if I have to create the dream mentally and hold it myself as opposed to it making itself and simply entering it. Any advice for how to transition effectively and create the dream?

I've been having the same problem. Earlier today I took a nap and I was able to reach SP, but after a little while I just let my thoughts wander. Then I remember becoming fully awake from finding myself jolt in my own bed. I did that a couple times and it was really weird.

this happends to me to like things would pop up in my vision then when i focus on them they would faded away but im not in sp

yeah just really need help solidifying the dream, tips from anyone who is good at WILD? what do I do to hold that dream imagery and let it continue to form?
