Can't WILD
So after 8 hours of sleep, I got up for about 20 minutes. Ate breakfast and went back to bed. I tried to WILD but I just couldn't get into SP. I fell asleep once but I didn't dream. Woke up again and tried to do the flex freeze (Yoshi's) and still couldn't get into SP. I had that feeling in my leg on and off and my heart rate rose, but I couldn't didn't see any HI and couldn't go to sleep. I was relaxed and I don't know why I couldn't go lucid, or even fall asleep for that matter. Help?

Were you too aware/awake to attempt a WILD? You might have more success if you tried to WILD after 6 hours of sleep instead of 8.

Yeah, sometimes getting up for too long can make you too wide awake mentally; this is different from being awake physically and unable to relax. Eating might also have a similar effect by giving you energy where you want to fall asleep; you could try to avoid eating at night in the future, unless you're starving as in you wouldn't be able to focus on the WILD. I second Mancon's suggestion that you should try after ~6 hours of sleep, because you might have more time in REM. :)
