Having some WILD problems

Hey guys,

So I have been toying with the idea of lucid dreaming for a couple of years now. I've kept a dream diary before and had amazing success with recall, sometimes being able to write pages about a single dream and remembering up to three a night. However, I've only ever figured out that I was in a dream twice (in memory) and the dream always collapsed immediately after.

I eventually came across the idea of WILD and immediately liked the idea of it. The furthest I got through the process was when I first tried doing it and felt the vibrations and saw giant white splodges moving across my vision. Since then though I either fall asleep or just end up lying motionless for extended periods of time, feeling as if I am asleep but nothing happens as far as dreams are concerned. I also always have the feeling that I can move whenever I want, never had the feeling of a dead weight body, I sometimes start to see a layer of blue gradually fill up my eyelid.

I also seem to get very weird feelings in my hand that makes me just have to move it, like a cramp, its very odd and very annoying and as much as I try to ignore it, it just keeps on persisting and never goes away.

So does anybody have any words of wisdom that they can share with me as to how far along the process I have been getting and what I can do to get a bit further along. Lucid dreaming is something I would very much like to do.
