Every time I achieve a WILD it lasts only about ten to twenty seconds. I try to ground myself in the dream by speaking, feeling things, smacking myself, etc., but none of those things works! When the dream starts I feel really tired and can barely move, which is one reason why trying to ground myself doesn't work. Also when I speak it comes out as a weak whisper.
Is there anything I can do to get rid of the sluggishness and have a longer LD?
Hi Kitty, do you get scared atall when you have these WILDS or do you feel anything nasty with you that would shorten the length of it?
Tell yourself to make the dream more vivid and immediately start rubbing your hands. Works for me every time. Make sure to rub your hands a lot also. I achieve very lucid dreams with this.
Idon't get scared, but am actually happy and calm. Although, when I go into a WILD my eardrums vibrate and then hurt. I think that's just part of the hypnagogic imagery, though.Quote:

same things been happening withme, lately my WILDS havent been longer than 30 seconds.
