Was i getting close to WILDing?

Alright so i haven't been very successful DILDing so about a hour ago i decided to give a shot to WILDing (this was my first attempt ever so i was just expecting SP at most) i laid down perfectly still and about maybe 5 minutes in i started to see like dreams. I don't know how to describe them. They were like random scenarios that i was being sucked into but every time i tried to focus on one i would snap out of it and become more aware. And then after a little while of that i started to see like random patterns that pulsed like a wave and my body started to get really heavy. but then nothing else happened and i opened my eyes and i was able to move, which confused me because my body felt so heavy i thought for sure i was in SP. I don't know. That was my first ever experience with this so could anyone confirm that i was or wasn't close to a WILD it would be helpful for next time i try. :D

It sounded like a wild for sure. I got exactly what you got when I attempted it, but I didn't get a dream. I'm no expert on WILD, so I'm not much help, but it seems like your close, keep trying! :)

You saw some Hypnagogic Imagery and might have ended up in SP. Try the same during a WBTB or a nap and see what happens :) Pretty sure you would succeed if you did. Good luck!

That sounded like a pretty wild first wild attempt :) Sounds very positive and definitely along the right lines. As Matte87 suggested, try the same techniques after a WBTB - I'm sure you'll succeed. Also keep trying during the afternoon as well, and you'll be there in no time :D

Thanks for the info guys. I just tried to WILD again last night and i woke up around 5 in the morning and i laid perfectly still again and all that and i could feel SP but nothing happened after that. So instead of starting a whole new thread I'm just going to continue on with this one and ask anyone if they have any advice as to how to get further when your WILDing because i was sitting there for about a hour and a half in SP and nothing happened which was pretty frustrating! >:O

EDIT: oh and i have read tutorials on how to WILD so yeah please don't just tell me to go to a link you posted that redirects me to a tutorial...
