      Accidental Wild?

I am not a fan of sp in the sligtest so I dont try wilds or any techniques that require sp. My brother woke me up earlier than usual in the morning and 2 seconds after I was awake I felt sp. I couldn't resist it as my eyes were forced closed. I had been attempting to do a mild but that went out of the window so I attempted to snap out of it but 10 seconds later I found myself in my dream as if it was a false awakening. I was expecting scary shadows which is why I am scared to do wilds.

Which wild technique in particular was this?

The was one part DEILD and one part WILD. You woke up, like a DEILD, but then technically WILD'ed into a dream, sp and all. If you are anything like me, SP is nothing to be scared about. Lot's of random stuff can happen to you, including nothing at all, and only a very small percentage of that is going to be scary. Most of the time it would be just plain random, sometimes it will be funny or nice, and less often than that it will be something bad.

If you at least try it and then see if it works for you. You never know, going through SP could be the best way to get into a lucid for you- you did very well this time.

I would say it was a DEILD because you didn't move (much) and entered the dream after exiting one, well done.
You know most people don't even feel SP (on their side) when they try to WILD, a large misconception is that you are aiming to get into SP, where as the main aim should be to simply fall asleep.

Well done and keep it up!

So should I look up more deild techniques?

Which deild tutorial helped you the most?

I normally sleep on my side and if sp was as brief as it was I wouldn't mind dong it more.

Moved to the WILD subforum. c:
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
