Close to SP?

Hello everyone. I am working on mastering the WILD. So far I have only had one but that was a accendent. I latterly closed my eyes and I was in a dream ( no sleep for 48 hours)! Anyways, I am using Yoshi's WILD technique. I get to a point where I am shaking and I see colors (I assume that's HI). I also feel heavier than normal. Sometimes the shaking will start and then stop after 2 minutes or so. I can still move if I want too so I'm not sure if it is SP. While I'm in these states I feel like I'm close to entering a dream but after an hour I give up because it isn't changing. Do you think it is SP and if it isn't do you know what I should do to be able to accomplish reaching SP? Thanks for your help! :D
