      Need help relaxing for your next WILD attempt?

      Close your eyes, throw on some decent headphones or turn up your sound system, and give this a listen (not necessarily in that order):

      Marconi Union - Weightless

      If you're not at least 65% more chillaxed afterwards, then you either aren't human or your audio equipment is awful to the point of causing you discomfort.



      Dunno if this has already been posted somewhere on this site (it probably has) but some background info:

      I just tried it It relaxed me pretty well, and the throughout the whole song, my mind didn't really wander, and it felt like I was floating
      But I'm sure I'll have better results with it during WBTB.

      Oh by the way, do I need to leave it on repeat or just listen to it once?

      No idea.

      Probably once is enough. Since, due to the underlying beat structure (which starts faster but slows down over time), restarting it from the beginning may bring about some odd results. I do think it's worth trying it out both ways, though.

      Haven't had a chance to WILD with it myself, 'cause I don't have something decent set-up to play it as I fall asleep just yet, but the track never fails to relax me, so at the very least it'd be good tech for that step.

      Yea, I totally agree. I might just experiment with it and leave it on loop, it could somehow relax you further, make you go deeper and deeper; or produce the same results.

      Thank you for posting this. Really. This shit is awesome. It does what every other ambient mediation track tries to do, but falls short of.

      According to that article, your heartbeat is supposed to entrain to 50 beats per minute. I'm curious if that actually happens or not. I was at 72bpm but the lsd probably had a lot to do with that. I'll try it again tomorrow.

      I think what I'll try to do is listen to this once during my WBTB tonight (if I remember to...) then try to WILD directly after listening to it.
      Although, it may possibly creep me out

      Well, I've been unable to get my heart rate down to 50. However, I listened to this twice last night before bed, and after the 2nd time I remained sitting in my chair for an indeterminable amount of time before realizing that it had stopped playing. Definitely induces a trance like state, even more so than brainwave entrainment. Very powerful stuff.
