WILD Questions
I have a question about WILD that is cuasing me the most trouble.
1) People say that your goal is to fall asleep in which I understand but when I do this I don't remain aware, how do I fall alseep but remain aware?
Is it just laying there completely still and counting my breathes still my body thinks I'm alseep?
2) People say not to put all your awareness into counting your breathe like focusing too much on it. How do I do that? I try not to focus but I can't I mean, I don't understand so if someone can explain in depth how to do this then that would get great.
Thanks for reading and look forward to posts.

Most keys to keeping aware is finding an anchor that works for you. It's a delicate balance between paying too much attention to your anchor and not being aware enough of it. Counting your breaths may not work for you--you want something that can passively engage your brain enough to keep you aware during the transition. If you find breathing is too difficult to find the balance, try some other anchor. These can range from a change in sleep temperature, to a dull pain, to a white noise. More info about anchors can be found elsewhere on DV. Experiment around and see what works best. Everyone's different.
