Ive been trying for a few weeks now and i have no problem getting to SP but as soon as that overwhelming senstation comes on like im having a heart attack my body involuntarily stops and i have to wait a few mins before it will come back again. I was told to push threw this and just ignore it and thats what im trying to do but its like my body says WOAH NO! lol any help would be greatly appreciated! thank you.
Yeah, SP can be seriously overwhelming, and scary at times. I really hate to say this, but you have to push through it to succeed. Your body does it to make sure you really are asleep, because you won't resist the SP kicking in while asleep. Perhaps it is best to wait for someone more experienced than me with WILD to react first though. I could be wrong, and I don't want to be the cause of any trouble.
Hey wearetheenemy, I've heard of this problem and, to be honest I have it as well. What makes it go away is the fact that you are concentrating on it. (At least for me that is the case). I've tried just daydreaming and getting through it but it doesn't work since I still have some sort of passive concentration on it. It's pretty much my main concern right after trying not to fall asleep during the WILD. Try doing the WILD where you focus all your concentration on something like your breathing leaving no thought for anything. It got me the farthest. Hope this helps. :)
thank you guys for your input, its good to know that im not the only one who is going threw this troubling stage. ill try to focus on something else its just overwhelming and it seems like when i kicks in that its the only thing i can think about. lol i hate being so close but yet so far. ill get it though... i hope :) thanks again
