How do you enter a WILD??

Now what I'm asking is not how to get to SP but how to (after the HH) step into the dream world? I've always imagined it would like just form around me but still it just kind of confuses me on how to actually enter the dream!

Usually when a dream scene starts to appear I have this terrible habit of really looking at it to study it, which destroys the scene and it disappears. If I use my imagination to pretend my line of vision is 90 degrees off the line of the dream scene it allows the scene to develop until I am automatically sucked into it and have the lucid dream. Strangely this morning I was seeing images of objects and symbols flashing before me at the rate of about 10 per second. I had to look at them and they continued to be there, but I was so close to the edge of sleep I did fall asleep instead of progressing to a lucid dream.

First of all, you must be sure that you really are in sleep paralysis! :D Many people who are new to WILDing believe that they reach sleep paralysis pretty fast, and then lie there in SP for a long time without transitioning. It's easy to think that just the feeling of numbness and heaviness is SP, but it feels completely different. For me, sleep paralysis feels like strong vibrations in my whole body, while I hear buzzing sounds in my ears.

The transition happens all by itself in less than 10 seconds once you're in sleep paralysis. Either that, or the paralysis just disappears (which also takes around 10 seconds). The only thing you have to do in order to transition, is to not think about your physical body. Forget that you're lying in your bed. If you don't see a dream forming, it's possible to visualise a dream scenario by yourself. You can also just keep an empty mind (like I do). Don't try to force yourself into a dream, just let it happen. It's easy to break the transition if you become too excited.

The easiest way to transition into WILDs (in my opinion) is to not think about anything. Soon, when the feeling of sleep paralysis stops, I wake up in my bed and know I'm in a dream. Sometimes I have to make sure that I'm dreaming, so remember to always do a reality check every time you think you've failed! :)

This is also my experience of sleep paralysis in both WILD and DEILD, the sensation of sleep paralysis is unmistakable as is a successful transition, you'll just know if you are in a dream whether you are in a new scene or even just a dream version of your bedroom. :)
