SP Issue
So whenever I try to do a WILD I always have trouble keeping my heart rate down when I begin to enter SP. I'll start to feel numb in my hands and feet, and the feeling creeps up my limbs. The problem is once the numbness gets about halfway to my knees and elbows, my heart rate shoots up. In my mind I'm not scared of SP, but its like my body is freaking out. I try to calm myself down, but the numbness always goes away and I can't get back into it. Any suggestions?

Hi Mexican, when your heart rate seems to speed that is prob just an hallucination although it seems very real...maybe next time it happens just say to yourself "I'm dreaming" and focus your mind on a dream you remember or a dream you want to be in, anything but the speed of your heart rate...once you focus on it too much it can ruin your attempt as it has been doing. It just takes a little practice and patience and soon you won't give it a second thought, you will just relax and go with it. Your mind controls your body's reaction to SP and although you don't get scared your mind knows that you are thinking about it and have a problem with this...it just takes a little re training if you like of your thoughts....like I said forgetting about this and just constantly focus on something else and also believe that next time it happens you will flow gently with it and your body won't freak out, allow your body to use it instead of fighting it...you will get there, just trust in yourself and this will soon pass. Good luck friend and keep us posted on how you get on :)

I think that is what I did wrong Angie. My SP was quite intense, I felt an exhilarating feeling as my heart rate was through the roof. I wish I knew how I could induce this, I'd abuse it by just getting to SP waking up and getting back to SP again. I kind of like the feeling although it is INTENSE.
